Input/Output error

Hi,

I'm trying to solve a problem that I'm finally able to reproduce:
using /dev/dsp gives, after a pause of a few seconds an input/output
error. No errors in dmesg, no other processes using it.
Funny thing is that it worked the first time. Even rebooting didn't
help.
Anyone got an idea?
