Listener not recording
One year ago (almost to the day) I installed listener, and it performed
flawlessly up until recently when my motherboard died (asus A7N8X).
I changed motherboard (asus M2N-E) and had to compile kernel on my own
since one that I was using did not want to boot from new sata hdd. And
listener would not record since.
Now I installed fresh Debian etch and still have the same problem. I
can hear clearly what I am trying to record on the speakers, but I am
unable to set "at what soundlevel the program listener should start
recording".
It used to be very sensitive, I could make it start recording when
something moves in the room. Now I have to speak ludly into the
microphone.
I also tried with two pci sound cards (fm801 and cmipci) - apart from
the one integrated on the motherboard - with the same result.
