It is some mixer problem. I found that if I add this at the end of
/etc/rc.local my problem goes away, and listener records as it used to:


/usr/bin/amixer -c 1 set 'Input Source' 'Line' 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null
/usr/bin/amixer -c 1 set 'Input Source' 'Mic' 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null
/usr/bin/amixer -c 1 set 'Capture',0 42 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null

Perhaps this helps someone with similar problem.
